Hoping the Panthers can take back the division.

I just went and found my old Peppers jersey from when I was a teenager. It still fits.

We don't currently have a #90 on the team, so I hope he takes his old number back.

Panthers also just signed Mike Adams, SS from the Colts.

They're also eyeing another reunion; Captain Munnerlyn from the Vikings. I loved Captain when he played for us before, and I'd be stoked to get him back now to play the nickel.

Panthers have traded Kony Ealy and a third round pick to the Patriots for the Patriots second round pick.

See ya later, Kony. I'll remember you for having ONE good game, which happened to be the Super Bowl.

Vikings are finalizing a deal with ex-Panthers OT Mike Remmers... @Mike I am so sorry. This guy is absolutely garbage.

Garbage is an improvement over the O-line from this past season so I welcome him with open arms.

Rodgers and Bennett could do some damage.

I see a lot of people making a big deal about this. Thought Bennett was pretty meh last year, especially with the opportunity given to him once Gronk got hurt.

Its cool that theyre finally going outside the farm to help Rodgers but I don't see Bennett making a huge splash there.

No... You don't understand. This guy is WORSE than who he's replacing.

Panthers have signed TB WR/ST ace Russell Shepard. They also signed ex-Vikings WR Charles Johnson, who will be replacing Ted Ginn in the offense.

And the one that just happened that I got really hyped over besides Peppers: They have agreed to terms with ex-Vikings CB Captain Munnerlyn WHO IS ALSO COMING BACK HOME!

Ex-Bears do good work for us.  Everyone thought J-Peps was done when he signed here and then he found his old form.  I think Marty's gonna come alive.

And tbh Cook's effect on this offense was overrated and Bennett's a step up in every way from him.

I was hoping the Panthers would make a run at Cook. We made a run at him last offseason, but GB offered him more.

The Patriots will find a way to get their first round pick back or their second at least.

My guess is someone will pull the trigger on Jimmy G. before the draft - always one team that panics.

I don't get the Cooks trade at all.  They didn't go out and sign Hogan and finally get a receiver right in the draft in Mitchell to just stop using them.  Cooks is the Edelman eventual replacement.

Also, Cooks is really bad against press coverage.

Isn't Edelman a go over the middle type of WR? I don't watch a lot of Patriots games, but that's how he strikes me. The Pats haven't had a true deep threat in a little while.

Cooks is not the over the middle guy. Cooks is a guy that will take a screen 70 yards. He's a guy that will take the top off a defense, just by running by everyone. Watching him twice a year for 3 years and that's what he does best.

Cooks played over 30% from the slot last season.  He's a Edelman clone, basically.  Yes, he's a go-route specialist, but so is Hogan.  And Mitchell showed as a rookie he can win on the outside as well.

Right, but I'm saying they aren't going to use Cooks to go over the middle. They got him to take the top off the defenses. Dude runs a 4.3 40. You don't waste that speed sending him over the middle to make contested catches.

I wouldn't say he's an Edelman clone because Edelman can't take the top off the defense like he can. He's going to be a gadget player for them in that when they run the no-huddle he can line up in the slot, on the outside, or even at half-back. Hogan and Edelman are good at what they do but are only good at what they do, Cooks can do both.

Edelman is getting pretty up there in age too, so he'll eventually replace him.

i do find the Belichick infatuation with him a little weird though, never would have imagined he'd give up those draft picks for a WR.

Bennett is getting 3 yrs/18.45 million, and the best part is, apparently that's actually less money than they were talking to Jared Cook about.

See ya Cookie, thanks for the memories.
