Honestly, hearing a story like that makes me want to cry. I always dreamed games would reach that level of user interaction one day, and now that time is upon us. It is a great time to be a video game player.

Nintendo is releasing Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition in the US of A on December 12th. Gonna be the game in disc format with an illustrated booklet and a soundtrack CD that covers pretty much every Mario or Mario-related game in existence. It also sports a spiffy box. The cost for the set is 30 bucks and it will be a limited edition.

- Lost 1300 gold on a chicken race

- Found an adventure book, gave it to two ghosts and watched them resurrect other ghost with it and throw a ghost keg party

And that was all just in my last half hour of Fable

In an abrupt turn of events, Keiji Inafune has announced his resignation from Capcom via blog post. Inafune has been with the company since 1987 and is most famous for creating the video game character Megaman (or Rockman in Japan). The series is one of the most iconic and recognizable in the game industry. He has also worked on several Resident Evil titles, Onimusha series, and Dead Rising among many other games.

Within the past few months, Inafune has stated publicly that he does not have the same goals in mind with his games as his fellow Capcom employees. He wishes there to be more creative process put into games as well as to target the global audience more aggressively. It was hinted by him last month that he was unsure if he would be staying with the company if they didn't start sharing his vision about how the company should handle games and audiences. Now he has made good on that comment.

So after 23 years at Capcom Keiji Inafune has officially declared his resignation from Capcom, he will leave by the end of the month (which is only a couple of days away). This will no doubt be a major blow for Capcom. Inafune has stated that he intends to continue developing games however. He may even start his own company or join another. At any rate, i guess the real question is- what could this mean for the games he has a huge hand in making? Such as the upcoming Megaman Legends 3... We shall see, but Capcom probably isn't very happy to see that the creator of their mascot has left them. It's not only a big loss, but Inafune's comments about Capcom won't do well for the company's image.

So my friend is King in Fable and I go into his game and we get one of his servants and go to have a 3-way. As we go in bed the screen goes black and all we hear are guys groaning. We both mention that this can't be good. As the picture comes back we discovered the unfortunate truth that the girl was no where to be found and it was just me and him standing next to the bed.

The girl was a cover for the shocking truth.

Well the only game I've played from this year is RDR, so it wins by default. Even if I'd played a lot of games I still think it would be #1, haven't enjoyed a game that much since Mario Galaxy.

So far, Heavy Rain for me. I wasn't as impressed by RDR as everyone else. Rock Band 3, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, GT5, Mass Effect 2, and Alan Wake are the games I haven't played yet that I think could take it.

Dead Rising 2 and Just Cause 2 were great, but not outstanding like HR.

RDR was pretty much Grand Theft Horses. I appreciate it from a gaming standpoint, but it's really nothing new. Rockstar just took their usual game and painted a coat of brown to make everyone believe it was a new game.

Heavy Rain was a great fucking experience, but lacks the length and replay value to make it a serious GOTY contender to me.

LittleBigPlanet not coming out makes this such a boring year. I mean, as awesome as some of these games are, it is a pretty big step down from 2009 when we had Infamous, Uncharted 2, Arkham, Demons' Souls, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed, etc.

Next year will be awesome though. Infamous 2, Resistance 3, Dead Space 2, God knows what kind of original game, Arkham 2, just wow.

I pretty much agree with all of this. If Heavy Rain does indeed end up the GOTY for me, color this a weak year.

My problems with RDR were similar to the ones I have with pretty much every GTA game: it gets boring. I wasn't provided with enough will to continue the story in favor of shooting up a bar, and the gameplay just burns itself out. It's a recurring problem in (most of) Rockstar's games, and it lacked the absurdity GTA allows to make for more replay value.

I want Bully 2 dammit. That's actually my favorite Rockstar game.

BTW, Andrew, I'm assuming you have a PSN account? Add deagledx1 if you feel like it.

Don't forget Zelda and the 3DS!
