Night Verses Parts Ways With Vocalist

Super bummed about this. I know how ridiculously talented they are and that they will assuredly make some bomb ass instrumental music but Doug added so much to their sound and they will miss him very much

While it's obviously a big bummer for fans, I think I actually prefer this to much of the album I heard. The vocalist's style didn't really gel with me, even though they were obviously a talented band, and I find that going instrumental often sort of "unlocks" a group's sound, leads to more exploration.

Monster song. I've been engaged throughout all of these despite being completely instrumental which I wasn't expecting it all. It's not going to top ITVL for me but it's gonna be damn good either way
