Aside from 40 Oz. Dream, I thought the Good Charlotte album was great. Took me back to when I fell in love with them years ago yet still felt new.

I went back and forth on this one. I haven't heard Andy Black's album, but I'm not sure what I'd think of it. "We Don't Have to Dance" is the best song out of the four here, but his material might be a bit too poppy for my tastes.

"40. Oz. Dream" is an awful song, but I did enjoy Good Charlotte's album overall and it might be my favorite since "The Young and the Hopeless," so I went with them.

I like Andy Black's solo work more than I thought I would (even if he looks like a huge cheeseball in these videos), but I have a lot of respect for Good Charlotte and their dedication to the pop side of pop-punk. And their songs are more listenable. Vote goes to them.

Awful title I think he meant.

No, I don't think he did.

It's no secret that AI and I know each other off the forums and have for a long time now. I used to think I had his taste in music down but over the last couple years it's become more difficult to predict. I blame hard drugs.

Spoiler

AI does not do hard drugs.

Spoiler

Obviously I'm suggesting he needs to start.

Spoiler

Don't do drugs, kids.

While I can't say I'm a big fan of either artist at this stage of their respective careers, Andy Black may have one of my least favorite voices in all of music, so Good Charlotte will receive my vote.

Doesn't sound that awful to me, but (shrugs).

Awful might have been a bit harsh. Maybe just not very good lyrically as it's immature?

I've matured a lot in my musical requirements over the last few years. Lyrics are key. I can't listen to bands like Bowling For Soup or even many blink-182 songs in the same way without cringing a bit.

I said his voice sucks a long time ago on here. Its not powerful at all and very flat sounding for the kind of band he's in. Maybe it works better solo I dont know because I didnt listen to this album.

His range has improved slightly, but he will never get rid of that plugged-nose sound to his voice and it's unbearable
