I'm still mostly catching up on not just last year, but many albums from years past. I've only listened to five new ones this year so far. As I was talking to pen about this weekend, there is just too much good shit to check out, but not enough time.

I'm rank them so far:

1. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Unruly Mess I've Made

2. Lacey Sturm - Life Screams

3. Panic! At The Disco - Death of a Bachelor

4. Cavo - Bridges

5. Say Anything - I Don't Think It Is

Man, I've listened to a lot of music this year, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable rating any of it yet. Albums I've liked to varying degrees, in some order:

  • The 1975 - I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It (all I know is this is my favorite. Been meaning to make a thread about it)
  • After the Burial - Dig Deep
  • Panic at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor
  • Hands Like Houses - Dissonants
  • Lobby Boxer - Big Bucks
  • Basement - Promise Everything
  • Into It. Over It. - Standards
  • BJ The Chicago Kid - In My Mind
  • Kanye West - The Life of Pablo
  • Anchor & Braille - Songs For The Late Night Drive Home
  • Rihanna - Anti

1. Adelitas Way - Getaway

2. Decade - The Veer Union

3. The Driver - Charles Kelley

I also enjoyed Failure Anthem, Lacey and From Ashes To New (although I think I enjoy them live a lot more than recorded and it's stopping me from really getting into it) but I have to listen to them some more.

So far, all I have is

1. Killswitch Engage-Incarnate

2. Anthrax-For All Kings

I've listened to a lot more than this, but these two have been the only ones that are contenders for me, everything else I've heard as been pretty meh.

Another one I should point out is from 2015. Chosen's list gets smaller all the time.

Ha ha, you're right!

It may have come out digitally in 2015 but the physical release was in January. I bought it at Winter Jam before it went on sale. And also, my Kutless CD has 2016 on the back of it as well. Considering I don't buy digital albums only CD's, It counts as 2016.

That maybe true but looking at the back of the CD I have at the bottom it says 2016 Kutless Inc. So that is what I am going off of. So either its a misprint or something else. So in my book its 2016. But again it's not going to make my top 10. So we will agree to disagree.

I mean, if you want to agree to disagree on facts, fine, that's your prerogative, but this isn't a difference of opinion. Maybe it just indicates when your CD was pressed.

He really isn't grasping that the physical release was 11/13/2015 for whatever reason. Best Buy has the physical release as that as well.

No I believe it and am grasping it. When I made my list I went by the CDs that I have bought and saw that the back said 2016 so I added it to the list. So yeah its a 2015 release so what.
