Drive thru question

How come sometimes when I go to the Taco Bell drive thru I'll pay and then they tell me to go park my car and they'll bring my food out to me? What's the point? I have to go find a spot, back out of the spot after. And for what? I'd maybe understand it if there was a huge line backed up at the drive thru but most of the time I go there there's no one even behind me. Does this happen to anyone else?

Also, Taco Bell has Cool Ranch Doritos Locos tacos now so you might want to try those out cause they're pretty awesome.

Normally I just stay in the drive thru lane but pull the car up enough so that the person behind me can get to the window and pull out if necessary, usually this is right by an entrance so they just walk outside with the food and I'm right there. I don't think I've ever parked while waiting on my food, I just sit there idling until they bring it out.

That hasnt happened to me at Taco Bell but it has happened at BK and McDonalds. I think its because something you ordered is talking too long and they dont want to hold up the line. I wont be trying those because the regular Taco Doritos were overrated.

Pretty sure its because the stuff you order is gonna take a while to get done and they want you out of the line so they can move though whoever is gonna show up, quickly. Happens to me in KFC because I order their French fries to go with the BBQ sandwich. Its annoying to me too, so I try to avoid it,

Agreed but the new ones are pretty good. Although I still won't be putting them in the regular starting lineup of food I get there. It's not worth spending extra money on. The Doritos should make it about 25 cents extra, not the 50 or whatever cents it is.

Also speaking of Taco Bell drive through, does anyone else think they take FOREVER to move the line? I mean you can show up to McDonalds with 10 cars in front of you and you'll be out of there faster than Taco Bell with 5. That's why I avoid eating there too even though its practically next door to my house, while I'm jn my car the whole time my mind is thinking all this idling is adding to the price of the food.

Why would anyone ask you to wait? Youre Nixon from Framing Hanley.

I don't think I've ever gone to Taco Bell on my own free will, but that's never happened with BK, Wendy's, Arby's, or Hardee's. Don't think it has with McD either but I only ever go there for breakfast.

This only happens to me when I ask for "extra fries" and that's a code words. *wink wink*

Happens to me at McD's 90% of the time.

Taco Bell...never.  I tried that Cooler Ranch taco today...it's good.  I couldn't taste it as much as I could the nacho cheese shell.

I guess today was the first day it was out. I didn't even know they were gonna make Cool Ranch ones. I just happened to go today and saw an ad for it in the window.

Is your Taco bell drive thru open until 2 am ?

Yeah I think so. Either 1 am or 2 am.

Im asking because they seem to close later than BK and Mc Donalds who close at 12 or 1. TB IIRC was always open until 2.

Do you care they use low quality meat ? I dont. It all turns to shit when it enters your stomach anyway,

I tried one around a month ago and I didn't like it at all.

Back when the quesadilla was part of my starting lineup of food there, I'd get the steak. But the steak started to taste crappy for me after a while. Then I started getting chicken. Cheap steak is horrible but cheap chicken is okay with me. In fact, I'd prefer some cheap chicken nuggets at McDonald's over some boring ass dry piece of more expensive adult food chicken.

$9 or $10. Fucking cheesy gordida crunch drives the price up.
