  1. Jamie received reputation from Chris. in Nothing More- 'The Stories We Tell Ourselves'
I was thinking to myself "psh, y'all are being over dramatic about this 'Fade In/Fade Out' song; Nothing More is good and all, but they're not on the level of bands that make me cry or call my parents"
    *listens*

*starts crying harder than I have in years by the time of the first chorus*

*calls Dad at end of song with voice shaking to tell him I love him and appreciate everything he's done for me*

He has watched you fade in...
...you will watch him fade out.
When the grip leaves his hands...
I know you won't let him down!

I thought she did a great job. I didn't even put two and two together that it was Rex Ryan, I thought he was a little uncomfortable - good wording choice!

They had Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer at the same time. Then Mallett and Garoppolo at the same time for a bit. Then Garoppolo and Brissett at the same time. Also as Brady ages and Garoppolo suddenly becomes far more expensive to keep, New England has to be far more active in pursuing future possibilities at QB on the roster than they had to 10 years ago.

Or they're aware of a pending suspension 😂

I was certainly relishing it. It's stupidly rare for them to lose a nationally televised game at home. September does tend to be their most vulnerable month though so I know not to get too comfortable and just enjoy this for what it is as one game (I also quite like the Chiefs so I'm not just sadistically enjoying the Patriots' defeat; I'm happy that Alex Smith gets this national "FUCK YOU" moment to the football fans who take him for granted when he's shown that he can win big games and play big when needed).

    I love this song.

Maybe Nixon's blossoming NFL insider career is why ESPN felt comfortable letting John Clayton go.

    @Nixon
"In a move first reported by Nashville-based musician Kenneth Nixon — Decker’s wife Jessie is a country music artist and the couple has a home in the city — and confirmed by multiple NFL reporters, Decker is visiting with the Titans on Wednesday."

    Jamie,
That track popped up on my new releases Friday. I was immediately sending it to everyone lol. It is unreal. The drum track is beyond exceptional - there are a few moments that left my jaw dropped.
Spotify is kinda messed up though. They also put some band called Earthside in my recommended artists...

...despite the fact I've absolutely worn that album out.

1st single: "From The Flame" (very catchy for a progressive rock song, I think!)

Malina due out August 25th via Inside Out Records. This album is gonna be epic!

  15. Jamie received reputation from Ruiner in Stone Sour working on a new album
I don't think it is. If we can't criticize music when it feels mailed in and uninspired, then it rings hollow when we praise actually phenomenal music. For me to call "Fabuless" great would cheapen the poignancy of some of their past work. It's like handing everyone in the class who shows up an A...it's in theory nice, but then the person who really works hard and goes above and beyond gets 0 recognition for how much their performance set them apart. This song is not that. It's far from it. The songs and artists that are distinctively good deserve us noticing the difference, especially when Stone Sour has shown that they have the capability.

"Fabuless" is CRAP. Haven't heard "Song #3" yet, but man that "All downhill from here MOTHERFUCKER" part is such shit. And most of the rest of that song is pretty disappointing as well.

These brits specialize in catchy hard rock with little dashes of metalcore, djent, and progressive music all thrown in there.

  24. Jamie received reputation from Kalt in Kenneth Nixon (ex-Framing Hanley vocalist) posts new song
It feels like an alt-meets-country vibe...I'd almost call it Nashville alternative rock, which is fitting given your geography. I dig the shuffle feel of the song, and I think it suits your voice well. I've always really liked your falsetto and I really enjoy each time where that kicks in on the chord/mood change to the chorus as a nice contrast to the verse.

Did you guys record this in a pro Nashville studio and are those real drums or just really good samples?

Curious and keen to hear what's next!
  25. Jamie received reputation from NinjaNick101 in Earthside - 'A Dream in Static'
Earlier today, we decided to ring in the new year by dropping a music video out of nowhere.

Of all our songs, this is probably the most up @Andrew , @Nixon , and maybe @Omar's alley we get. Though I could see Omar preferring "Crater", not sure. But if the 3 of you were to ever give us a listen, this is probably the best foray into our sound.
