wired.illusion received reputation from Lucas in New NIN album is finished!
WARNING: NIN LIVE SPOILERS BELOW
So the Fuji show was fantastic and the stream was great... for me. This stream was advertised all over but they region blocked it and fucked a ton of people. I got around it really quick with a Japanese proxy (and then cut it off). It was a great high quality stream once it got working.
Quality set list, some new tracks, some re-working (Sanctified? Fuck yeah). In addition to Came Back Haunted they played Copy of A and Find My Way from the new album. The visuals they put together for the festival run is awesome, I can't wait to see what they put together for the full Tension tour. I like that they put a lot of effort into visuals for this festival run rather than just keeping it simple.

I hope you're all ready for Team Andrew this year. I am ready to ascend to the throne.
I'm thinking The Wrath of Kuhn for my team name.

Well, it's a pretty good looking set of results at a glance. I would love to see a more detailed breakdown if you've got one available (or spreadsheet). I'm really curious how people voted and if some of the top albums are just because a small number of people rated the album really high to bump it up in the results. I like Deftones being #1, but I wonder how it got there. Also, 169 different albums from 17 people is pretty impressive!
On the subject of Music Madness, I think I'd prefer some sort of seeded system rather than completely random. It leads to a more exciting finish which I think overall would please the community more than having a few underdog albums make it up a little further only to get crushed (as well as avoiding two heavyweights meeting early on).
Real nice work Koldes, it's not perfect yet but I can see this becoming a fun thing to do yearly. Can't wait to see some more data.

3 - Imagine Dragons - 'Night Visions' - 174
2- Stone Sour - 'HoGaB Part 1' - 188
1 - Deftones - 'Koi No Yokan' - 219
Deftones is the clear winner of points! Also tied Tremonti for the amount of total votes; 11.
There were 169 different albums selected for (up to) top 25.
I stopped at 22 because there are many, many albums that come in between 25-50 points, well underneath Nine Lashes. All that takes is one or two people thinking high of it, and then a couple others having it on their list somewhere. There's a large drop off after Nine Lashes, and it did well in MM, so it seemed like a good place to stop for now.
I'll post top 50 and some other interesting facts that I found while tallying up the votes, tomorrow or Tuesday.
Thanks to everyone who contributed with lists:
Chris7, Lucas, Nixon, Wired, NinjaNick, Blade, Jamie, Pat, Andrew, Juggz, Paul, Omar, Lamberson, Pen, Ruiner, Xeph, and Veritas.

Best Porcupine Tree albums are the streak of In Absentia (my AOTY for 2002), Deadwing, and Fear Of A Blank Planet (my AOTY for 2007). Those three in a row were a pretty incredible hot streak of awesome music.
Best Opeth album to start with is probably Ghost Reveries. Though Blackwater Park is produced by Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree and would be my second recommendation.
Of Steven Wilson's solo albums, Grace For Drowning is my favorite and was my AOTY for 2011.

Man I would love a Batman Beyond series of movies. We're actually re-watching that right now and I had forgotten how good it was. They've got some pretty dark moments for a kid's cartoon.
Also, no Fincher or Craig in The Girl Who Played with Fire? Don't bother then. http://screencrush.com/the-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo-2-gets-a-rewrite-and-maybe-a-new-director/

I suppose the question would be is there any chance Jay unbans him? Maybes we need a highly publicized and controversial trial...

Don't be silly Wired, we all know there was only one season of Heroes, before it was tragically cancelled.

Sounds like a plan. I'll likely be posting mine tomorrow.
