Revisiting some Limp Bizkit after years away. Didn't remember "The Surrender" being such a legit good song. Really wish Durst could have channeled his subdued songwriting in the quieter tracks into the heavier ones where the band really got to show off. Instead you get a bunch of songs that are 3/4 great and 1/4 pure cheese.
Just shuffling through the playlist this morning and Shadows Fall "The Light that Blinds" comes on, makes me wish they'd do something new. I'll never understand, how even though they're from the same scene as Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, and others, that they never got that big. They definitely had the talent. To me they were the best of the bunch back then.
